Drink your food and chew your water

Drink food:

This means chew your food in mouth till it becomes liquid, so that we can incorporate as much of our saliva with our food to mix the amylase present in saliva to begin the process of digestion.

Foods that can be difficult to digest are particularly in need of extra chewing, If the food isn’t broken down sufficiently, the stomach acids have to work harder to break down large chunks of food. If the food hangs around in the hot climate of the gut, food can ferment because of the delay in digestion which can become toxic.

better chewing of food makes the digestion of the food better and also helps in better absorption of nutrients. when we eat water that is drink more water then our body metabolism is improved.

Eating slowly may also improve your health and quality of life in other ways, including:
  • increasing your enjoyment of food.
  • improving your digestion.
  • helping you better absorb nutrients.
  • making you feel calmer and more in control.
  • reducing your levels of stress

“People should take more than 20 minutes to eat a meal — ideally about 30 minutes — so that you can have an opportunity for your brain to catch up with your stomach,” Dr. Heinberg says. If you're working toward weight loss and weight management, here are some strategies
Eating slowly can increase fullness hormones, so that even if we eat less in 30 min we will feel fullness, chewing more is one of the way to eat slowly.
Eating too quickly often leads to overeating, as your brain doesn't have enough time to receive fullness signals

Eat water:

We should hold water in our mouths for a few moments before swallowing so that the liquid is injected with our Chi which makes it more effective.

Sip water slowly than guzzling it down at once. Sipping water and allowing it to stay in the mouth and then passing through the food pipe helps the alkaline saliva reach the stomach to neutralize acid levels in the stomach
